Learn How to Play WALK ON THE WILD SIDE from the original session Musician himself HERBIE FLOWERS!
Herbie came into the SMHTP studios and recorded all his parts of the track for us so YOU can play along with him on this MULTIPLAYER track. We had the privilege of watching the legendary Herbie in action and now you to can do the same.
Herbie told us that he recorded Walk On The Wildside with Lou Reed in an amazingly short space of time. Written by Lou Reed in 1972, this track appeared on the “Transformer” album which was produced by David Bowie and Mick Ronson.
The song is also noted for its twin interlocking bass lines played by Herbie Flowers on double-bass and overdubbed bass guitar.
