THE MACCABEES COLOUR IT IN AT BESTIVAL
The Maccabees Colour It In at Bestival
Brighton based quintet The Maccabees have come a long way since their school days where they used to all bundle into frontman, Orlando Weeks bedroom and write songs.
Nowadays thanks to vast amounts of determination, hard-gigging and a strong XFM radio showing the band find themselves touring alongside the likes of Artic Monkeys.
Life may have a changed in a big way since The Maccabees members first met, but one thing is certain fame does not appear to have changed their outlook.
Chatting to SMHTP at Bestival, Maccabees guitarist Felix expressed how important it is not to let arrogance overpower your band.
He explained: “When you play festivals you can’t have any self important moments you just bang it out. You’re just a tiny fragment of the whole occasion, you just do your bit and that’s it.”
