Coldplay

The British rock quartet -- composed of Chris Martin (vocals/piano), Jon Buckland (guitar), Will Champion (drums), and Guy Berryman (bass) met at the University College of London. Every member of the band brought their own very different musical Influences with them when they formed Coldplay in 1997.

Coldplays debut album PARACHUTES achieved worldwide success and earned them a Mercury music prize in the UK and a Grammy Award in the US for Best Alternative Music Album. With their following Albums A RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD and X&Y Coldplay have gone on to sell over 30 million albums worldwide.
