Sara

Sara originally worked in the City as a business consultant for over 10 years but she’s now swapped the pin stripes and suits for Music, Bands and Artists with a move to SMHTP.  After leaving the City, Sara worked for an award winning new media start up operation where she focused her skills in HR, Finance and project management. 

She grew up in Cheshire and tells us that she’s “Still a northern bird at heart!” even though she’s been living down south since 1997.   With Husband Michael also in the Music industry as a writer and producer,  Sara is very familiar with the roller coaster ride that can sometimes be the music industry.

Her first album ever bought was Toyah's Anthem [mmm?] and first gig was Deacon Blue at the Manchester Apollo.   She loves all kinds of music - Sara says that growing up on the doorstep of Liverpool and Manchester in the late 80's - early 90's was fantastic with everything that was going on in the music scene and at the clubs  - her late teens/ early twenties are still a bit of a blur!  We love a good Cake at SMHTP, so we’re especially pleased that Sara has also brought with her a love of making them, which is always a great way to start the day.
