this site pisses me off, you're all corporate scammers. this is a good concept but you have like 20 songs to choose from and you try to charge people money for them after you get them all excited about learning to play music. F*** THAT! this is not what rock n roll is about. real musicians dont pay money to be taught how to play "smells like teen spirit." if you're going to pay money to learn at least get real lessons and not this bulls**t.

everett how do you think this site keeps going, from what i gather the site has only being up for a short time hence the 'beta', they do not seem to have many ads on the site so will be earning nothing. How do you expect a website to give everything away for free, the only way i can think of is if the site is a corporate one and they are backed by a massive company with loads of money to lose. Doesn't seem very fair to attack a company that in my opinion are one of the few trying to promote music as widely and as freely as they can.
Also 'Smells like teen spirit' is free to download i have it and it is excellent.

looking forward to seeing your non-profit music site funded by starbucks.

ok maybe i was a bit harsh about the site's prices, i realize that they need money to keep it running, but i still believe that having to take your parent's credit card to learn to play a song is pretty drastic, especially when there are tabs and guitar pro out there that provide more than enough info for free to learn songs.

If you want to have a go at a website - thats fine, but surely you have a wide enough vocabulary to not use foul language?!

The lessons on the site are free (and beginner) so that can't be a bad thing. As far as the multiplayer track prices go - Yeah, it would be expensive if you were ONLY getting someone show you how to play a song, but you get the chance to play along with other musicians which isn't something you can get from other sites.

The lack of tracks is purely due to the fact that the site is so young. Watch this space.

You are, however, entitled to your opinion. You probably could have sent an email with your opinion instead of leaving words that I would imagine parents don't want their kids learning....

Take it easy

Well, have been reading all the posts on this.

When did musicians get so cynical about a site that offers FREE lessons with a huge database for looking up music and a genuinely nice community feel?
Sure they need to charge a few pounds for each multiplayer video but I guess the musicians do have to be paid. If you were a musician wouldn’t you want to be paid, or do you work for free? I’m afraid we can’t all have it both ways!

For me, I'm still getting over the multiplayer, I just think it's amazing!
